I watch his face
then look away
His arms are crossed
his eyes loathing
watching my bloody lip,
the part he's enjoying
No one sees me
or him in his pride
me on my back
glaring at the sky
My jeans have been ripped
as has my shirt
exposing my thin form
covered in dirt
There were more of them before
but he always waits
for me to wake up
to see the look on my face
To watch me claw to life
watch me struggle to my feet
watch me spit up the blood
with a smile so sweet
Mocking me
As always
But without fists or words
a cold sure stare
a fact like cords
Binding me inside

SilenceI whittle my wood
I sit and I stare
I watch through the window
the hopeless despair.
A new victim today
her taste has changed
from the weak and the small
to the sick and the aged
Her eyes are smiling
while her face is hidden
behind the dark wrap
comes the laughter unbidden
The victim is loud
though I hear no sound
Their face is enough
beaten and bound
Their eyes are what gets me.
Makes me think twice
about keeping my silence
But her eyes are like ice
They freeze all that they see,
cold and hard as steel
With my tied tongue
I seal the deal
the promise of my freedom

Yeah.....this is Itchy's sister, Stitchy, derived from the wound on her paw. I figure I've been bitten by the inspiration bug, so whole herds of odd varations of Itchy will pop up continuelly throughout the next week or so.

This is cuter and cleaner than itchy, but I like Itchy's tail better than hers. It's so big and fluffy...
